Everything you can do in the conference app, from signing in to live Q&A, reading papers, networking, the gala dinner and beyond. Every tab, for every role.
The whole programme runs 21 to 25 June. The live Agenda tab is always the source of truth. This is just the shape of the week.
Day themes are indicative. Open the Agenda in the app for the confirmed, live schedule.
Sign in on the web, set up your profile, then add the app to your phone. A few steps and the whole conference is in your pocket.
You must sign in and then set up your profile before the app can pull your details from ConfTool. Skip either one and your schedule, badge and registration will not appear. Steps 1 and 2 below are required, everything after is optional polish.
Go to icd-southampton.com. If you have already registered, sign in with your email and password. If not, tap Sign Up and fill in your details.
You will then receive a confirmation code by email. If it does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder. Enter the code, then wait for an administrator to approve your account. Once you are approved, return and sign in.
Important: use the same primary email address you use on ConfTool for both sign up and sign in, so the app can match you to your conference registration. A different email will not match.
Open My Profile, tap Edit, and complete your details. Until you set up your profile, the app will not pull your information from ConfTool — nothing will sync.
Add your photo, affiliation, country, job title, research areas, and your dietary and accessibility needs. You control what others can see with per-field privacy toggles.
It is a Progressive Web App, so it runs full screen with its own icon. iPhone (Safari): Share, then Add to Home Screen. Android (Chrome): tap Install when prompted. Installing unlocks push notifications and faster access.
From My Profile, enable push notifications and tap Allow. You will get schedule changes, "session starting soon" alerts, meeting requests and emergency broadcasts, even when the app is closed.
Once you are in, the app opens to the live Agenda, the full programme for 21 to 25 June. From here, everything is a tap away.
Six core destinations every attendee uses: the programme, content, people, the map, your badge, and your inbox.

Your hub and your digital badge. Staff scan your QR to check you in; peers scan to connect.
Your inbox for announcements, schedule changes, session alerts and meeting requests.
Read the science on the go. Every talk and poster carries its full details and paper, and you can take them with you.

Live sessions are highlighted, a session and presentation timer keeps speakers to time, and a countdown shows the next break.
Not everything is a session. Tap a break, lunch, reception, dinner or tour for its time, location and what is provided.
You can hold more than one role. The app detects each from your account and reveals the right tools, nothing to switch by hand.

Sensitive fields (email, phone, dietary, accessibility and emergency contact) are private by default. You decide exactly what other attendees see using the per-field privacy toggles in My Profile. Names, affiliations, job titles, countries and research areas are the only things shared by default.
